| The High School ACE Academy is an exciting week-long program for high school students. The camp will focus on airplanes and flying, the theory of flight and aviation history, and aviation careers. It will delve into real world aviation applications, including radio-controlled aircraft, understanding aircraft construction, and a design project of building and launching a rocket. Students will be able to attend field trips to learn more about aviation and will get the opportunity to fly in an airplane. The high school camp begins Sunday, June 28th and ends on Friday, July 2nd. The camp is residential. Cost per student is $125. Charlotte-Monroe Metro Region – This camp begins Monday, July 19th and will end on Friday, July 23rd. The day camp runs from 8:30am to 6:00pm each day. Cost per student is $125. Winston-Salem Region – This camp begins Monday, June 21 and will end on Friday, June 25th. The day camp runs from 8:00am to 5:30pm each day. Cost per student TBD (To Be Determined). |
